The BBC – Making the Best Out of a Small Budget!
One of the great things about being a small BBC team was that we got to do virtually everything. Working from a marketing creative brief, I developed the creative treatments, wrote the scripts, cast the shoots, directed the shoots, edited the pictures and mixed the sound of all these promos. They were screened right across BBC Television output. The budgets were always tight, which demanded more creativity.
It was great fun, and I’m pleased to say that in my current video work, many of my clients also like to have to fun!
